Spreadin’ some blog love

by Melissa on October 17, 2008

I was all prepared to share a mini album I’ve been working on. But then I read a comment on one of my recent posts by an incredible artist named Natalia.

I don’t know who Natalia is, and I don’t know if she’s an actual artist by profession, but after visiting her blog and spending a good half hour browsing her Flickr gallery, there’s just no other way to describe her.

I initially thought her LOs were digital, but they’re not!  Girl, you are talented. You’re blogroll worthy.  Her LOs invite you in, they make you look closer. AND they make you think about what you see and read on the page. Beautiful!

And I have to say she has inspired me to put more of myself–my thoughts and feelings–into my pages. It’s easy to scrapbook an event, but sometimes shouldn’t we be scrapbooking what that event meant to us? Maybe how it changed us?

Now, go visit her blog, Blinks of Life. While you do that, I’m going to get out all those chipboard words I decided not to put on my last LO and I’m puttin’ em on!

And Natalia, thank you so much for your comment and your inspiration.

Thank you Melissa :) I had no idea my work would effect other people in such a way. I’m really touched to read this entry. Thank you so much.
